Are you ready for a crazy wild season of The Bachelor? I'm talking crazy! Former NFL player, Colton Underwood is hitting the small screen once again and seeking love. ABC has teased us with promos filled with hot Colton freeze frames, wild fights between the contestants and o' so many tears!
We had a couple of months to prepare ourselves after seeing the first teaser back in November. Unfortunately, none of us were prepared for the viral video to hit our timelines this weekend. The video shows smiling Bachelor contestant, Bri Barnes, introducing herself to Colton. Nothing too out of the ordinary except Bri later admits that her Australian accent is completely fake!
Sly, sly Bri. When Colton asks her about her accent she totally re-words her answer. Can't be a liar now, can she?
"You've got a nice accent, where are you from?" Colton asks.
"Oh the accent? It's Australian. I was hoping that you're kind of a sucker for accents."
Social media was on fire after watching that clip. These women aren't playing any games out here and we stan.
Is this lie going to take her down (under)? #TheBachelor pic.twitter.com/OrHrathRYJ

TMZ got a chance to catch up with Colton in West Hollywood, CA and asked him his thoughts on Bri's fake accent.
"I appreciate her. It was unique, it was clever, it was something different."
This season is certainly going to be nothing short of entertaining. “I’m very excited,” Colton told People following the news that he was chosen as The Bachelor. “I’m so grateful. I can’t tell you how much I’ve been smiling.”
Colton also said he's ready to finally get his happy ending, which hopefully includes a proposal. “That’s what I’m looking forward to the most, being engaged and then getting married shortly after that,” he told Micheal Strahan on GMA. "Third time’s the charm, that’s what they say, right? That’s what I’m hoping for!”
Season 23 premieres Monday, January 7th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Watch the preview below!
