Granger Smith has uploaded a new video to his family's YouTube account to discuss the tragic night his youngest son, River, drowned in the family's pool. The video was uploaded three weeks to the day of his passing.

As many fans know, River sadly passed away on June 6. Since his passing, the Smith family has created a shirt in honor of their son and has donated over $200,000 to the Dell Children’s Medical Center, where River received medical attention after his accident.

The country singer spoke to the camera while on his way to his Yee Yee Farm; a place he hasn't been to since River joined him. In the clip, he opens up about the tragic night and gives viewers more details about what happened.

Smith said:

"The night of the accident, I was with all three kids. London and I were playing gymnastics, the boys were playing water gun fight. The events that happened, and this is really important to understand for everyone, especially parents, this whole thing took roughly 30 seconds. We have a pool gate, we have a fence that we built as soon as we moved into this house… during this sequence of events as many times as I've gone through these events in my head, which has been a million… River found a way to accomplish the impossible… how he got in there we have some theories. The other really important thing to talk about is how quiet this whole thing happened. It was silence. I was fifteen feet from this gate; which is something that will haunt me the rest of my life. Him getting in there is almost an impossible feat and him silently getting into the water is beyond any of us understanding."

Smith did give an update that his other two children are doing well after the sudden loss if their little brother. Watch the entire video above.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Smiths.
