Blink-182 have been toying with our emotions ever since Travis Barker assured fans the new album would "definitely be out before the Warped Tour," which came and went last month. Mark Hoppus later explained what was delaying the release of their eighth record, admitting they kept writing songs that were good enough to include on the project.
On Friday morning (July 19), Mark, Matt, and Travis visited Good Morning America to play some songs, but that wasn't all. They also finally announced the release date for their upcoming album: September 20.
Though we still don't know the name of the record, blink have shared three tracks to give us a taste of what to expect: "Blame It On My Youth," "Generational Divide" and "Happy Days."
Watch the band's announcement below.
ICONS! @Blink182 has been delivering hits for over 2 decades and has sold over 50 million albums.
