Brandi Cyrus is being the best sister that she can be to Miley as the superstar deals with her breakup from Liam Hemsworth.

During Brandi's recent appearance on her "Your Favorite Thing" podcast with Wells Adam, the 32-year-old star made her first statement on the headline-making split. "It's not my business to talk about and it’s nothing anything of mine to tell. There's nothing I can really say. I just, I’m here for her, obviously, and I've been spending a lot of time with her," the older sibling said. "When she’s ready to talk about it or whatever, then she will."

As per Cyrus, the stars are currently on vacation (as we saw from their hangout time with Brody Jenner's ex Kaitlynn Carter), but she did admit that it's frustrating that the pop star's fans are seemingly spreading word about the location of their travels in Italy.

Additionally, Brandi seemingly referenced her sister's split in an Instagram post, writing, "I've learned that life sometimes takes us through seasons when we cannot understand why things have to hurt so much, or be so hard, but all we can do is trust that there is purpose in everything, even the darkness... and in time everything will make sense, and all of that purpose will be revealed when the time is right, and we will be stronger and better for it."

While Cyrus also shared an introspective take on the breakup, Hemsworth was forward about his feelings on the matter. On Monday night (August 12), the 29-year-old actor took to Instagram to share his two cents, writing, "Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love."
