Rihanna is planning a careful domination over the remainder of 2019 and her latest announcement details her second annual Savage X Fenty Show and its new collaboration with Amazon Prime Video.
On Monday (August 26), it was announced that the runway show celebrating the line's new Fall/Winter 2019 collection will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries on September 20. As per a press release, the upcoming show, which will feature performances, is set to raise the bar when it comes to runway presentation and serve as a "radical departure from tradition, a one-of-a-kind event blending music, fashion and culture." Back in 2018, Rihanna held the first show at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and recruited the likes of Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, and Duckie Thot to open the show. Nine-month-pregnant Slick Woods also took to the runaway and immediately went into labor after her turn and delivered her son, Saphir.
"I couldn't be more excited that everyone will have full access to The Savage X Fenty Show this year! We are working on creating a bold, sexy, super energetic experience for our viewers," Rihanna said in a statement. The upcoming affair is being executive produced by Rihanna and produced by PRODJECT and Endeavor Content’s non-scripted group.
If you want even more Rihanna, keep your eyes peeled for updates on the pop titan's fifth annual Diamond Ball, which will be hosted by Seth Meyers and feature performances from Pharrell and DJ Khaled. The New York City event will also shed light on Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley and Shaun King as the recipients of the 2019 Diamond Ball Award.
