Jason Aldean Drops New Hometown Anthem 'Dirt We Were Raised On'

Jason Aldean just shared a new song and the track list to his upcoming ninth studio album, 9. The country singer's 16-track record will officially drop on November 22.

"People buy albums with eight songs for 10 bucks now, but with 9 it's like you're getting two whole albums at once," Aldean says. "I want fans to feel like they're getting more than they bargained for and I want it to be something they listen to from top to bottom, and never hit skip... or thumbs down or whatever."

Previously released tracks include the lead single, "We Back," "Blame It On You," "I Don't Drink Anymore" and "Keep It Small Town." Along with revealing album details, Aldean also just shared a new song, "Dirt We Were Raised On." The track list is expected to have a handful of drinking songs in true country music fashion.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm just drawn to drinking tunes. They just go together with Country music and it's hard to pass them up. But it's not the 'Hicktown' type stuff with keg stands, it's more like sitting at the bar and doing some thinking. It's all coming from a more mature standpoint."

Aldean recently announced he plans to hit the road in 2020 for his "We Back Tour" beginning on January 30 in Columbia, South Carolina running through March 14 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Joining him on the 20-city trek will be special guests Morgan Wallen, Riley Green and Dee Jay Silver. Tickets for the "We Back Tour" are on sale now at JasonAldean.com.
