Foster The People Share Fun-Loving Video For 'Pick U Up': Watch

Last month Foster The People released a flirty, uplifting single called "Pick U Up" and on Thursday (October 3) shared its equally carefree music video. The clip begins in a mysterious way, introducing us to two characters who seem to be involved in gambling and generally shady business. They pick up two briefcases and cruise down the street of Los Angeles in an Abarth 124 Spider.

"Hey there did you call me? Are you lonely? Should I pick you up?" frontman Mark Foster sings in the chorus as we try to decipher what these characters are up to. "Hey there got some money? Do you love me? Or you just trying me on?"

When we finally do find out what's in those briefcases, the whole mood of the video changes. We won't spoil it for you, but it's definitely worth the watch.

Foster directed the video himself. In fact, he has directed the visuals for all of Foster the People's singles this year ("Worst Nites," "Imagination" and "Style"). Though the band has yet to announce its fourth album, we have to believe it's coming soon, as "Pick U Up" marks the fourth song the indie rockers have released this year. They released their third album, Sacred Hearts Club, two-and-a-half years ago.
