It's hard to believe we're entering a new decade and are 20 years into the 2000s. So it seems like the best time to reflect on country music over the past two decades. In 2000, some of country music's biggest stars shared new records with their fans — which includes songs that still stand the test of time.

With the new year upon us, it's time to reflect on some albums by the likes of Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw, and George Strait that came out a whopping two decades ago — as well as a couple iconic movie soundtracks.
