The Teen Vogue Summit 2019: Arrivals

Fans are freaking out over Demi Lovato’s latest social media post.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter shared an image on Instagram of her flaunting what appeared to be a bun in the oven. In the photo, Lovato, dressed in a polka dot dress, can be seen cradling her burgeoning belly for the ‘Gram — but it’s the caption that gives the secret behind her bump away.

“Real or fake? #WillandGrace #MeetJenny,” Lovato wrote with the photo, hinting at her pregnant role in her upcoming guest appearances on the hit series Will & GraceIf you didn’t know, the “Sorry Not Sorry” has been booked to star in three episodes of the show’s final season.

Even though the jig was up, fans are still shook. “Demetria stop I coulda had a heart attack,” one user wrote, to which another added: “I almost threw my phone.. please don’t trick me like that?”

Some users didn’t believe the joke was real, and this inspired users to send congratulatory messages anyway. “You’ll be the cutest mom ever,” someone else commented. “I'm shook ! Congratulations New Mom.”

Lovato took to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight on her "pregnancy" once and for all, screenshotting a tweet that read, "Demi is pregnant with D7," to which the vocalist replied, "This is true."

All jokes aside, Lovato’s pretend preggo picture does have convenient timing. As you can recall, it was just a week ago that the “Tell Me You Love Me” powerhouse went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, Austin Wilson. It’s anyone’s guess how long the 27-year-old songbird and 25-year-old model have been dating, but it’s safe to assume Lovatics will be keeping an even closer eye on the couple after this hilarious publicity stunt.
