Foo Fighters fans rejoice!
On Sunday (February 23), the legendary rockers posted a teaser video to social media flashing the words "DC Jam” in red and blue letters.
As many fans know, Foo Fighters have put on CalJam Festival in 2017 and 2018 in San Bernardino. CalJam featured a ton of rock acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Liam Gallagher, Cage the Elephant and more. While the band skipped a 2019 festival, it seems like all signs are pointing toward a DC estival this time around.
While Foo Fighters said nothing more than “coming soon,” the official CalJam Instagram was tagged on the photo and the band celebrated its 20th anniversary at RFK Stadium in DC in 2015. Plus, the stars and colors of the post seem to hint at maybe another Fourth of July show.
“Whatever it is... we can’t wait!” one fan commented on Instagram. “Oh good sweet Lord....Let me snag tickets for this one!!!!!!” another fan wrote.
Since the Foos are currently celebrating 25 years together, it makes perfect sense to head back to the US Capitol to perform a festival for fans.
Last week, the band revealed it will be embarking on a small anniversary tour this spring that revisits cities from the band's first trek in 1995. During that tour announcement, Foo Fighters teased more dates will be announced along the way.
Dave Grohl recently confirmed a new Foo Fighters album is complete and he's working on a handful of documentaries.
