Harry Styles Details How He Was Robbed At Knifepoint

Harry Styles just opened up about being mugged in London on Valentine's Day (February 14).

The “Falling” musician, who was held at knifepoint a few weeks ago, spoke at length about the terrifying scenario that left Styles shaken up. The 26-year-old recently recounted the robbery in a recent radio interview.

"I was robbed on Valentine's Day. That's what you get for being single these days, I guess," Styles said, according to Too Fab. "I should have had other plans. I was home, I'm about five minutes from home. I'm walking up and I see this group of guys and they've all got, like, hoods up and their faces covered. I turn my music off, and I'm walking up the street and I keep kind of turning around and the guys crossed the road. And I'm like, 'That's weird.'"

The “Cherry” star said he had a bad feeling after hearing the group gaining on him, and even more so when they followed him across the street.

“I think I’m about to get robbed,” the former One Direction member said to himself. "So the guy's like, 'Hey, can we talk to you for a minute?' And there's nobody around, so I'm like, 'Sure,'" he recalled. "And he's like, 'Do you smoke weed?' And I said, 'No.' And he goes, 'Do you want some weed?' And I thought, 'No.' And then he was like, 'What have you got on you?'"

Styles complied when the crooks demanded his money, and they apparently tried snatching his phone too. “And then the guy's like, 'Unlock your phone,' and the other one pulls his shirt up and he's got a knife sticking in his pants,” he recounted. Though, thankfully for the singer, Styles took the chance to run away as soon the "opportunity" presented itself, recalling how he “ran into the road and tried to stop a car” but they didn’t let him in. Even so, he managed to get away safely just in time.

Styles touched on the incident last week for the first time, assuring fans on the Today Show that he was “OK.”

As of yet, Metropolitan Police are still investigating the robbery.
