Carrie Underwood took some time out of her busy schedule to hang out with Post Malone.
The iconic duo met when Underwood attended Malone's concert at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on March 4. The country star turned to social media to share an iconic photo of the two together.
"Thanks @postmalone for the hospitality tonight...and for putting on a great show...and for introducing me to your mom," Underwood captioned the photo.
The rapper is currently out on the road for his "Runaway Tour" running through May. He'll make stops in cities including Denver, Las Vegas, San Francisco and more before making his way overseas to Europe for the summer.
On the flip side, Underwood is in the midst of a busy week herself with the release of her new book, Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life. The book was officially released Tuesday, March 3.
Find Your Path features stories from Underwood regarding her personal wellness, including details of her fitness routine called Fit 52. Additionally, it will cover more personal matters such as pressures that come with Underwood's life in the public eye.
Underwood was away from Nashville earlier this week when the deadly tornados hit. Her husband, Mike Fisher, had to act quickly to ensure their family was safe.
During Underwood's appearance on NBC's Today Show Tuesday morning (March 3), she revealed that Fisher and their two sons, Isaiah and Jacob, took cover as the storm approached the area.
"He said he had to go upstairs at like 2 am and grab the boys and take them down to, we have like a little safe room in our house," she explained. "I bet everybody was crying. It's like 2 am and like, freaking out."
According to The Associated Press, the tornadoes caused over 40 buildings to collapse in and around downtown Nashville leaving 24 people dead and many more homeless.
A shelter for those in need has been established at the Nashville Farmers Market located at 900 Rosa L. Parks Blvd. Those interested in helping the Nashville community can donate to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund here. Hands on Nashville, the Red Cross and other organizations are also organizing donations and volunteers.
