It seems not all is great with the Duggars, the family from the hit TLC series 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On. This week, Jill Duggar's husband, Derick Dillard, celebrated his 31st birthday. His in-laws, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, posted a kind tribute to him on their Instagram, captioning it, "Happy birthday, Derick! We're so thankful for you! You're a loving husband to our sweet Jill, and a wonderful daddy to your boys. May God bless you in this new year!! ❤️" While most recipients of a generous post like that would like it or comment on it, neither Jill nor Derick did either of those things, likely because of their ongoing feud with Jim Bob and Michelle.

Perhaps they were too busy with the party to notice the post, but Jill was sharing everything going on with Derick's festivities on her Instagram story, so it's not like she wasn't online. Meanwhile, Derick definitely saw it since he was responding to comments about the post on Facebook, including liking a few very telling responses like ones that said, "This is damage control," and "You've treated him and Jill horribly because your love is conditional, and your brand is more important to you than your children."

Things have been rocky with the elder Duggars since 2017, when Derick and Jill left/were fired from the series after Derick made transphobic tweets about fellow TLC reality star Jazz Jennings. Derick says he quit the show by choice, but others say he was made to leave.

Since then, Derick has also claimed that Jim Bob kept money his family earned on the show without giving it out. Additionally, Dillard stated that he and Jill aren't allowed at Jim Bob's house without explicit permission. He also recently commented on a photo of Jill and her sisters, writing "Glad you were 'allowed' to visit with them." The remark was later deleted.

These days, without the money from the show, Derick is going to law school and working as a driver for Grub Hub.

Although fans think that the Duggars were trying to extend an olive branch with their birthday post, there is no word on if it is actually the beginning of a reconciliation or not.
