Ozzy Osbourne is donating a portion of all merchandise sales in April to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tweeted on Wednesday, April 15, that 10 percent of proceeds from the sale of every tour item in his online store, including Ozzy and Black Sabbath apparel, accessories, CDs and vinyl will go directly to Parkinson's Research.

Ozzy wasn't able to tour at all in 2019 due to a litany of medical issues and he called off his 2020 tours so he could get treatment for his advancing Parkinson's disease. He later had to cancel his plans to get treatment due to concerns over the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Although the Prince of Darkness still hopes to return to the stage this fall, that is looking less and less likely with the advent of social distancing due to the pandemic.

In February, Ozzy released his acclaimed Ordinary Man solo album — his first in a decade. He later announced a new A&E biography, The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne.

With much more idle time on his hands than he's comfortable having, Ozzy has thrown out the idea of making another solo album.
