Morgan Wallen's Love Has Limits In New Song, 'More Than My Hometown'

Morgan Wallen offers another glimpse at his upcoming second studio album with his new song, "More Than My Hometown." The song, released on Friday (April 17), was written by Wallen alongside Hardy, Ernest, Keith Smith and Ryan Vojtesak. Joey Moi produced the recording.

"More Than My Hometown" finds Wallen staying true who he is as he chooses his small-town life over a girl he loves. "I love you more than a California sunset / More than a beer when you ain't 21 yet / I love you more than the feeling when a bass hits the hook / When the guy gets the girl at the end of the book," Wallen sings in the chorus. "But, baby, this might be the last time I get to lay you down / 'Cause I can't love you more than my hometown."

"More Than My Hometown" follows "This Bar," which Wallen surprised fans with on December 31. Both tracks will be featured on the country singer's forthcoming album. Further details on the new project have yet to be announced.

In early 2020, Wallen launched his headlining "Whiskey Glasses Roadshow Tour." He also spent some time opening up for Jason Aldean on his "We Back Tour" before the final dates were postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The shows were rescheduled for August 7, 8 and 9.

This summer Wallen plans to join Luke Bryan out on his "Proud To Be Right Here Tour." Like other artists, Bryan also had to postpone the start of the tour which will now begin on July 10 in Orange Beach, Alabama. A list of Bryan's new 2020 "Proud To Be Right Here" Tour Dates can be seen here.
