Post Malone is once again proving he's a rocker at heart. On Wednesday (April 22), the rapper announced on Instagram that his next next quarantine livestream session will be a tribute to Nirvana. The special set is slated to go down Friday (April 24) at 6pm EDT via YouTube, and will consist of “Nirvana hits and fan favorites”, according to a press release.
Livestream proceeds will benefit The United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for The World Health Organization (WHO). Fans will be able to make donations to COVID-19 relief efforts during the livestream by pressing the “DONATE” button on the top right-hand side of the screen. Google has promised to match all donations at a 2:1 rate, up to $5M.

The Nirvana tribute shouldn't come as too much of a surprise for Post Malone fans — he's covered the iconic grunge rockers live before. And that's not the rapper's only association with the rock world. Ozzy Osbourne was featured on his last album Hollywood's Bleeding and Posty returned the favor by collaborating with the Prince of Darkness on his latest album Ordinary Man.
