Ozzy Osbourne's first live performance in nearly 11 months will come November 24 when he appears alongside Post Malone and Travis Scott at the American Music Awards.

Ozzy made the announcement on his official social media by sharing an image of the trio with the caption, "We are taking to the #AMAs stage for the world TV premiere of 'Take What You Want' this Saturday, Nov. 24, at 8/7c at the American Music Awards on ABC!"

After last performing on New Year's Eve 2018, Ozzy came down with the flu in January and postponed the upcoming leg of his 'No More Tours 2' farewell tour. He was later hospitalized over pneumonia concerns and again pushed back his return to the stage.

Not long after returning home, he tripped late at night and bashed his head into a bedside table, nearly breaking his neck and dislodging metal support rods implanted there in 2003. Recovery from the resulting surgery was estimated to take at least a year.

While Ozzy's injuries have prevented him from doing much traveling, he's thrown himself back into music. He recorded the "Take What You Want" collaboration with Malone and then recorded a new solo album called Ordinary Man with Malone's producer Andrew Watt. The album also features Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

Ordinary Man is due out in January and Ozzy has already released one track, "Under the Graveyard."

While Ozzy's AMAs appearance will be brief, it represents an important moment in his recovery. He's currently scheduled to resume the 'No More Tours 2' farewell trek next spring.
