Cardi B does not agree with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s decision to reopen gyms, barbershops, hair salons, nail salons, and more non-essential businesses amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On Wednesday (April 22), the "Press" rapper, who owns a home in Atlanta, expressed her disagreement by commenting on Baller Alert's Instagram post about Georgia reopening at the end of the week.

“I just want to let people DONT GO AROUND YOUR PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS! Once there sick and in the hospital wit covid you won’t be able to see how and what they treating them with," she wrote. "They will literally have them die slow !They are not nurturing covid patience with the proper foods ,tea to boost their immunes.STRAIGHT MEDICATION !Your parents , grandparents or YOU will most likely pass by yourself in a cold hospital with no physical contact with your love ones .HEALTH OVER CAPITALISM!”

Governor Kemp's controversial decision to re-open the state amid the ongoing pandemic has been deemed premature, dangerous, and illogical by many, given the fact that the proposed starting date to allow non-essential businesses to open is May 1 under Phase One of the U.S. government’s three-phase plan to restore the economy.

Not only that, but Kemps' decision also goes against the advice of public health officials. “You've got to be realistic. You’ve got to understand that you don't make the timeline, the virus makes the timeline. So you've got to respond, in what you see happens,” Dr. Anthony Fauci recently explained on CNN’s Prime Time, cautioning states against opening too soon. “And if you keep seeing this acceleration, it doesn't matter what you say. One week, two weeks, three weeks -- you've got to go with what the situation on the ground is.”
