Drake is here to save 2020!

At the stroke of midnight on Friday (May 1), the Canadian rapper dropped a new mixtape titled Dark Lane Demo Tapes. The project features 14 tracks including Drake's recent viral hit, "Toosie Slide," as well as his previously released Future collab ("Desires"), a number of SoundCloud/Youtube one-offs ("When To Say When," "War," and "Chicago Freestyle") and even a few leaks ("Pain 1993” and “Demons").

Dark Lane Demo Tapes also features appearances from Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Fivio Foreign, Giveon, and Chris Brown.

Drake teased the mixtape late Thursday night (April 30), writing on Instagram, "My brothers @oliverelkhatib @ovonoel put together a lot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes) DARK LANE DEMO TAPES out everywhere at midnight."

He additionally revealed that his sixth studio album will be "dropping Summer 2020!"

"Lucky number 6 😈 soon fwd," the "Life Is Good" rapper added.

Last month, Drake appeared on Diddy's Instagram Live and discussed his upcoming project. “I’m working on the album, I’ve been working on it for a while now," he explained before sharing how quarantine has provided him the ability to work on the album without distractions.

“I remember the last time I had to sit down was when I tore my ACL [in 2009]. And I made a great album out of that. Obviously God has us all inside the house right now, sitting down. The amount of focus that I'm able to put into this album is probably way different than it would have been," Drake shared. "Definitely, this the most excited I've been about an album in a long time. A lot of little stuff has been trickling out but all the stuff on the album is fresh, it's brand new and I'm excited. This is probably the most music I've ever been sitting on and I'm hype... I'm getting close."
