Lori Loughlin's defense team recently filed a motion to completely dismiss the charges against her in the ongoing college admissions scandal after evidence surfaced suggesting a key witness had been coerced into lying by the prosecution. Despite feeling confident the judge presiding over her case would rule her in favor, Loughlin's motion was ultimately dismissed and court proceedings will continue. While this is a certainly a setback for Loughlin, it seems she still has many close friends rooting for her and supporting her during her legal battle—including her longtime Full House co-star Dave Coulier.

While chatting with Us Weekly, Coulier addressed the scandal, which first came to light over a year ago in March 2019, publicly for the very first time. The comedic actor prefaced his comments by telling the outlet that he really couldn't comment on the situation because of the ongoing legal proceedings, however, he made sure to say the "[Fuller House cast' love her dearly." Loughlin was fired from Netflix's reboot of Full House after her alleged involvement in the scam was made public. Coulier told Us Weekly that filming the fifth and final season of Fuller House "didn't feel right" and was "really sad" for the whole cast.

"However this kind of turns out, we’re there for her," Dave added. "The images that people see aren’t always what is true. And Lori is one of my closest and dearest friends on the planet, and it’s really unfortunate that this has happened, and I will be there for her forever."

Coulier is the latest of Loughlin's former co-stars to declare their continued friendship and support of the actress. In addition to Coulier, Bob Saget, John Stamos and Candace Cameron Bure have all publicly supported Loughlin during her court battle.
