Beyonce, Cardi B, Kim Kardashian & More Demand Justice For Breonna Taylor

On what would have been Breonna Taylor's 27th birthday (June 5), celebrities from around the world used their platforms to demand justice for her senseless murder.
From Beyoncé to Kim Kardashian to Billie Eilish, celebrities called for the police officers who barged into the 26-year-old emergency medical technician home unannounced on March 13 and shot her eight times as she slept in bed, to be held accountable for her murder.
Not only was Breonna unarmed at the time of her death, but the plainclothes police officers who fatally shot her were also at the wrong house as the man they were actually looking for had already been arrested earlier that day.
Amidst international police protests demanding justice for the killing of Breonna — the four officers involved have yet to be charged or arrested — celebrities pointed their followers to the #BirthdayforBreonna initiative, an online campaign created by writer Cate Young that lists several ways to bring more awareness to Breonna's case and secure justice for her family.
See their posts below.

She was an essential worker murdered by the police while she was sleeping.
She should be alive to celebrate! But instead no charges have been issued and no arrests have been made with the officers involved. pic.twitter.com/KzYHgK3utw

Today is Breonna Taylor’s 27th birthday. She was an EMT working on the frontlines of the Covid crisis who was killed by Louisville police serving a no knock warrant while looking for suspected drug dealers.

Today is my birthday. It also would have been Breonna Taylor’s 27th birthday. But she’s not here to celebrate with her friends and family because she was unjustly killed by police in Louisville. Breonna was an award-winning first responder who loved to sing, cook, play games... pic.twitter.com/ZJ30eUvV0l
