Vanessa Bryant has honored the life of her late husband and daughter with some new ink on her body.

On Wednesday (June 10), the widow, 38, took to Instagram to share videos of herself getting inked in honor of Kobe Bryant and the pair's late daughter, Gianna, who were among the nine individuals who died in a helicopter accident at the top of the year. "I wanted my boo boo's @kobebryant sweet message transferred on me," Vanessa captioned one of the posts, which saw artist Nikko Hurtado work on a piece on her neck. In another post, she revealed that she actually received the ink in February, writing, "Shoutout to @nikkohurtado for coming over and helping me get my Gigi’s sweet message transferred on me. #throwbacktoFebruary."

While Bryant's account on Instagram is private, Hurtado reposted both clips, admitting that he was "truly honored" to memorialize her fallen loved ones with tattoos.

The posts arrive just days after Bryant celebrated what would have been Gianna's 8th grade graduation. "Congratulations on your 8th grade graduation Gigi. I love you forever and always. I'm so proud of you," she captioned a photo of Gianna's diploma from Harbor Day School covered in white flowers.

As you know, the devastating crash also killed John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, Christina Mauser and pilot Ara Zobayan. Since then, Vanessa has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Island Express Helicopters and is seeking "economic damages, non-economic damages, prejudgment interest, punitive damages, and other relief as the Court deems just and proper."
