Tom DeLonge just keeps getting nostalgic for those blink-182 days. On Wednesday (June 24), the Angels & Airwaves frontman revealed a miniature replica of his iconic Surf Green Fender™️ Stratocaster from his early days with blink. Each mini guitar is hand-signed by DeLonge and even comes with its own tiny stand and case.
"This signature guitar has a classic surf green Fender™ Stratocaster body, with Tom's trademark single Invader humbucker pickup in the bridge, a Pearloid pick-guard, a single volume knob, and a 1970s headstock," the item description reads. Aside from playing the Strat during hundreds of concerts, it's also featured in the band's "What's My Age Again?" and "All The Small Things" videos.
See DeLonge's announcement post and get more info about the mini Strat here.
Though the guitar is a blink-182 collectors item, DeLonge has been hard at work on a new Angels & Airwaves album and on Tuesday (June 23) gave fans an update on its progress.
"So close... last minute arrangement work today on new @angelsandairwaves album. :)" he wrote on Instagram. "final tracks start next week."
AVA is also premiering the music video for their latest single "All That's Left Is Love" on Thursday (June 25).
