Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion Celebrate 'WAP' With $1 Million Giveaway

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" is the gift that keeps on giving.

After their viral music video for the dirty anthem and its recent Billboard Hot 100 crowning, it was announced that the rappers are celebrating female empowerment by giving away $1 million via Twitter and Cash App. "Today through 8/20, women who Tweet with #WAPParty and their $Cashtag will have a chance at receiving a portion of the 1M dollars through Cash App," an announcement read on Wednesday (August 19). "To celebrate and honor the inspirational conversation that’s been happening in response to the song, Meg and Cardi will be giving back to women in a big way, starting today."

As for the rules to the contest, well, it seems rather straight-forward. Any woman that tweets with the official hashtag (#WAPParty) is eligible to snag the $500 transfer. 2,000 winners will be chosen at random. "Y'all made #WAP amazing!!" Cardi told fans. "We’re partnering with Twitter and Cash App to give away a total of $1 million dollars to celebrate all you powerful women out there. tell us why you or a woman you know can use a piece of the $. drop your $cashtag and use #WAPParty."

Prior to the release of "WAP," which samples DJ Frank Ski's 1993 record, "Whores in This House," Bardi took to Instagram to encourage folks to listen to the full "nasty" version on streaming services as the music video on YouTube edit censored. "I just want to let y'all know, I wanna give y'all the heads up, the music video is going to be the censored version of the song, because the song is so nasty that YouTube was like, 'Hold on, wait a minute, someone might be too Goddamn nasty,'" she told fans.
