This year was supposed to be one of epic proportions for the Foo Fighters. The band was planning to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a van tour, which of course didn't end up happening, but that's not stopping Dave Grohl and company from making 2020 as good as it can be for fans.
Last month, the Foos launched a 25th anniversary merch capsule, and most recently published a digital zine called The People of Rock and Roll.
“Welcome to The People of Rock and Roll!” a message greets fans upon entering the website. “Share in the memories of Foo Fighters fans from all over the world. Hit the heart to like your favorites and create your very own rock and roll zine.”
At time of writing there are 135 fan-written stories on the site, with more to come. See the Foos' announcement below and submit your own band memory here.
There wouldn't be 25 years of Foo Fighters without YOU - the People of Rock and Roll!!! 🤘 Thank you for sharing your stories and being a part of the journey.

In addition to celebrating their 25th year as a band, The Foos are also currently putting the finishing touches on their 10th studio album, which Grohl says is unlike anything they've ever done before. They're also slated to perform an intimate set during the Save Our Stages Festival, which will be streaming live October 16-18 to benefit independent music venues affected by the pandemic.
