The Lumineers' Jeremiah Fraites has announced his solo album, Piano Piano, on social media Wednesday (October 14).
While fans can expect some absolutely incredible music, you won't be getting any lyrics from this album as it's entirely instrumental!
“I'm so excited to finally announce my new solo album,” he wrote. “It’s been a lifelong dream to make an instrumental album centered around a piano. I recorded everything in my home in Denver before moving to Italy.”
Fraites shared the album's artwork along with the release date on social media and fans can expect the album January 22, 2021. While we are three months away from the album, the musician has shared the first two tracks off the album: “Maggie” and “Tokyo.”
“I hope you guys take a listen and start to love and cherish this record as much as I do,” he ended his announcement. Naturally, fans are already in love with what they've heard so far and flocked to the comments section to congratulate the musician.
“First two tracks are amazing!! Can’t wait for the full album!” one fan wrote while another commented, “This is absolutely breathtaking. The emotions and memories I can hear in this piece really make me emotional. Thank you for your beautiful music to share with us.”
Friates' wife Francesca gave fans more insight on his writing process via her Instagram Story where she wrote out a quote he said about the new music: “I want listeners to feel almost as if they're sitting on the piano bench next to me. I love the idea of communicating with people through music alone, which can sometimes say more than words ever could.”
Piano Piano is available to pre-order now and Fraites is also sending the first 50 fans who order the album a signed Polaroid!
