Good news: Megan Thee Stallion is dropping her debut album this month!

The “WAP” rapper took to social media last night (November 12) to announce her first full-length effort will be called Good News — and it’s arriving just a week from today. “Through such a rough year, I thought we all could use a little good news,” Hot Girl Meg tweeted. “My official album Good News drops on Nov. 20th.”

Megan accompanied the highly-anticipated announcement with the cover artwork for her debut album, which features the “Hot Girl Summer” superstar, posing nude and sporting fire-red hair, inside of a glass box with nothing more than a newspaper covering her private regions.

This new project will be Megan’s first release since she put out her third extended play, Suga, in March. The EP featured several joints, including “B.I.T.C.H.,” “Captain Hook” and her smash hit, “Savage,” which received a co-sign from fellow Houstonian, the legendary Beyonce. The latter remix earned Megan her first chart-topper in the United States.

She’s since moved on to release several other tracks that will appear on her new effort, including “Girls in the Hood” and “Don’t Stop” featuring Young Thug.

True to its name, Good News must be a sigh of relief in itself for the Stallion, who has suffered through myriad scandals and misfortunes this year.

In March, Megan and her Roc Nation management team filed a lawsuit against her label, 1501 Entertainment, who she alleged had signed her to an unfair contract and refused to negotiate. Months later, in July, Megan sustained gun wounds stemming from a shooting incident involving singer Tory Lanez, who was arrested on gun charges after being pulled over and searched by police. Lanez was officially charged with shooting the 25-year-old by the Los Angeles County Prosecutors in October.
