Shawn Mendes delivered a soaring performance of "Wonder" at the 2020 American Music Awards.
The pop star returned to the AMAs stage to deliver the world premiere performance of the lead record from his upcoming fourth studio album, Wonder. In his second presentation of the night, the 22-year-old wore an unbuttoned white dress shirt while performing his emotional ballad at the piano before descending the set to take center stage for an epic finale.
As viewers watching at home know, this was Mendes' second time taking the AMAs stage to perform this evening after opening the ceremony with a surprise duet set with Justin Bieber. Together, the heartthrobs performed the first-ever live televised performance of their collab, "Monster."
Mendes is no stranger to the AMAs. He performed at the annual awards show in 2019 alongside girlfriend Camila Cabello for a hot and heavy performance of their sexy duet “Senorita.” The crooner has also taken home several AMAs throughout his career, including Best Collaboration (“Senorita”), and Favorite Artist Adult Contemporary in 2017 and 2018.
Mendes' new album, due out on December 4, will feature 14 new songs including "Wonder," "Intro," and "Monster."
