Shame & Regret located in downtown Colorado Springs has been closed since November when the state first announced Level Red COVID-19 restrictions.
Three months later, the bar will be reopening on Sunday, February 2.
The bar is owned by restauranteur Joseph Campana who owns five other restaurants and bars in addition to Shame & Regret.
The bar on 15 E. Bijou St. had to close when Colorado's Level Red restrictions limited bars and restaurants to 25% capacity.
"When your occupancy is like 80, that means at 25% what is that like 20 people? I’ve got to have a bartender on, a cocktail on, a cook on," Campana told FOX21. "That’s three people to what 16 or 17 people every 2 hours. It’s just not financially worth it."
We return February 2nd. 4-10pm 25% capacity. New drink menu, same people. We’ve missed you.

Now that a majority of the state has improved to Level Orange on the COVID-19 dial, Campana feels that it's the right time to reopen.
“We’re trying to figure it out. All of our employees are coming back,” Campana continued. “Everybody’s excited to be working again. I believe that we’re going to be at 75% by July. I really do. At 50% we can survive at that, which is still employing people, which is great.”
Shame & Regret will be open on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. with a brand new drink menu.
