Florence Welch is seven years sober!
On Tuesday (February 2), the Florence + The Machine singer celebrated the milestone and sent her "love and support to anyone who is struggling" in an Instagram post.
"♥️I am 7 years sober today," she wrote alongside a photo of a watercolor painting depicting the number 7 inside a red heart with arrows. "I send my love and support to anyone who is struggling. If you are feeling shaky around ED issues, drugs or alcohol, I completely understand. The desire to disassociate is so strong. But please don’t give up. We are going to need you on the other side.♥️ x X"

Welch isn't the only musician who recently celebrated a sober birthday. Over the summer, The Lumineers' Jeremiah Fraites revealed he's five years sober. During a recent visit to the Partnership to End Addiction's Heart of the Matter podcast, he explained how he's felt "more connected to music" since he stopped drinking.
"When I first gave up alcohol, somebody told me, 'You're going to feel so much more connected to music, and you're going to love to be creative, and it's going to be so much better,'" Fraites recalled. "And I thought, what a load of bulls**t. I really didn't think that was going to be true. And now, you know, only actually going through it, I feel like I've become more connected with music and more connected with my creativity."
