Cardi B will go to great lengths for a Hermès Birkin bag.

As fans know, the "WAP" rapper is a collector of the luxury handbags (which typically range anywhere from $11,000 to $400,000+), and her latest Birkin acquisition came after a worldwide search.

"I wanted this f***ing Birkin so bad," she said in an Instagram video on Tuesday (February 9) as she showed off the brown handbag. "Y'all don't understand, I called every f***ing Hermes store, it just came out this year. Searching for it and finally f***ing found it. Cost me triple but I love it."

The Bronx native added, "I know it's a little plain for y'all but I just thought it was so amazing, she's so pretty. I cant wait to wear it!"

Cardi additionally captioned the video, "I’m in love. I was searching the world for it #Birkinbagbardiback."

Cardi has never shied away from showing off her impressive Birkin collection. Late last year, she actually came under fire for "bragging" about spending $88K on one.

The drama all started when she first asked her 15+ million Twitter followers: "Should I spend 88K for this damn purse ? Omggg it’s tempting 😩😩😩.." The question was met with tons of backlash as unemployment benefits are about to expire and Congress has yet to agree on a stimulus relief package amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

As critics and fans alike began condemning Cardi for her alleged "insensitive" tweet, the 28-year-old rapper responded by sharing fans' screenshots of her charitable work throughout the year that included donating one million dollars to coronavirus relief, donating 20,000 supplement meals to New York-area staff, and donating another million dollars to fans impacted by COVID-19.

After some back and forth with her critics, Cardi concluded her tweets by sharing a few more examples of her charitable work before announcing that she did, in fact, buy the bag. "Sooooooo......do ya want me to show ya the purse ?" she tweeted along with crying laughing emojis.

Cardi returned to the social media platform days later with pictures of the controversial bag.

After a fan tweeted, "show us the da*n purse," Cardi responded by sharing screenshots of her new brown, shearling-lined Birkin bag. "This this !! This is the purse people crying about." she replied.

Like clockwork, haters descended with their critical opinions of the purse. "It ain't even that cute tho" one wrote, to which Cardi responded: "It’s not about being cute it’s about the value. In 3 years I can auction it for double."
