After a delay and never establishing a set opening date, the In-N-Out in Lone Tree opened on Monday, February 22. The city is expecting travel impacts due to the opening.
Although the opening date was previously unknown, city officials expected the grand opening to occur before the end of the month.
Last week, the City of Lone Tree released an opening day map for residents who wanted to visit the newest location.
"The City worked with In-N-Out to establish an opening traffic plan that would mitigate impact to local businesses and ensure a safe and manageable traffic flow," reads the city's website.
A queuing map shows what exits people should take if they want to correctly enter the drive-thru line.
Lone Tree's In-N-Out was first approved in November 2019, according to FOX31. It is located at 9171 Westview Rd., northwest of Park Meadows.
This is the third In-N-Out to come to Colorado since 2020. The first In-N-Out locations in the state were in Aurora and Colorado Springs back in November.
Eager customers began lining up the night before opening day, leading to 14-hour wait times.
According to FOX31, the burger chain is planning on opening more restaurants around the Denver metro area including locations in Lakewood and Thornton.
In-N-Out plans to open at least nine restaurants across Colorado.
In-N-Out opens TODAY. If you plan to visit In-N-Out or any neighboring businesses, please refer to the maps on this link. https://t.co/MhAYXq5UCJ
