Momma’s gotta work.
Gigi Hadid finally returned to the runway this Friday (March 5), six months after giving birth to her first child.
After welcoming her daughter Khai with Zayn in September 2020, the 25-year-old model made her catwalk comeback at Versace’s Fall 2021 show, sporting hot new looks from the luxury brand’s upcoming collection.
Several adverts from the Italian fashion label show Gigi rocking copper-colored hair and neon blue eye makeup as she struts her stuff down a labyrinthine-like runway. In one video, the superstar is joined by her younger sis, Bella Hadid, who flaunts her brunette locks and magenta-toned eyes while striking poses with her sister.
“Opening & closing @versace is always an honor and was the best come’back.’ ⚡️🌶 mostly just lucky to be healthy, working, and in a safe/tested environment to hug so many I’ve missed like family this past year,” Gigi captioned the post. “Thank you to everyone who made this possible, especially my Italian Taurus queen @donatella_versace always & forever 🧡🔑 & grazie for the major moments sweet @gvsgvs.”
As fans know, Gigi has been embracing her life as a new mommy with her One Direction alum boyfriend.
Gigi spoke about bringing Khai into the world via home birth in a new interview with Vogue.
“When you see someone do that, you look at them a bit differently,” Gigi recalled of her natural birth. “I probably looked crazy… I know my mom and Zayn and Bella were proud of me, but at certain points, I saw each of them in terror… I was an animal woman. Afterward, Z and I looked at each other and were like, ‘We can have some time before we do that again.'”
