Sterling Skye Mahomes isn't old enough to walk but she's already being recruited by her dad's alma mater.
Patrick Mahomes' newborn daughter received a letter of intent to play soccer with Texas Tech in 2021. Mahome's fiancee Brittany Matthews shared a photo of the letter on Instagram and said "she's ready."
Sterling Skye was born February 20 and was 6lbs 11oz. She still has a bit of growing to do, but she's been blessed with athletic genes from both sides of her family. Obviously, Mahomes is famous for taking Kansas City to two back-to-back Super Bowl, but mom was also a pro soccer player.
Sterling Mahomes is less than a month old. She got a national letter of intent for soccer scholarship offer from Texas Tech 2 days after she was born.

Matthews was a top player with the University of Texas at Tyler soccer team and played professionally in Iceland. She's now part owner of the Kansas City NWSL team.
Texas Tech frequently sends letter of intent to children as a cute gesture, according to KTRE. The Red Raiders also sent Sterling Skye a university blanket and a #15 Mahomes jersey, just like her father.
