An anonymous neighbor sent a Sacramento woman an Amazon delivery containing a shock collar for her dog, reports CBS13.

The package came with an unfriendly note addressed to "Barking Dog Owner."

The neighbor who left the package and note didn't knock on the door to complain, which means they wouldn't know they sent it to the wrong house.

Leianna Cox told CBS13 she doesn't even have a dog. She thinks the pandemic brought on the pettiness.

"People are crazy, they're bored, they're stuck in their houses," said Cox. "It's funny, it's kind of funny, it's kind of not funny."

She said the shock collar goes for $38 on Amazon.

The package also came with a card that Cox read for CBS13.

"It says, 'Dear Barking Dog Neighbor, we thought we would super enjoy you using this on your dog as we would like to sleep past 5:30 AM. Thanks so much for being a considerate neighbor! From your Neighbors,'" she said.

Cox has no idea which neighbor sent the package but it's clearly one who has never talked to her.

"There's my cat," she said. "This is the only thing I have. They don't bark."

She did have a message for the anonymous sender.

"Let's just address the issue. If I did have a dog, and I was to receive this, I would be super upset that you're telling me to put a shock collar on my dog."

On a brighter note, Cox said she was able to get Amazon credit for the delivery.
