Two men were captured on video stealing two French Bulldogs from a Detroit yard.

According to FOX 2, a dog trainer says he was held at gunpoint when two men approached his yard and demanded the two French Bulldogs.

The incident happened on the block of Gardendale in Detroit on Wednesday (August 4) around 8 p.m.

The dog trainer says one man was armed and the other man was wearing a tether, also known as an ankle monitor.

The video was caught on the home's Ring doorbell security system. You can see both men approaching the home from one side wearing face masks and white t-shirts. One man takes off running with one of the dogs and the other follows a few seconds later. You can hear the dog squealing as the man flees from the yard.

The trainer is offering a $5,0000 reward for information on the whereabouts of the dogs. He also stated that he would double the reward to $10,000 if the suspects are caught and arrested, FOX 2 reported.

Anyone with information about the dog theft is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at 313-267-4600.

Warning: Sound from the video may be unsettling to some.
