Unruly Passenger Leads To Flight Cancellation At Las Vegas Airport

An unruly passenger caused a flight out of McCarran International Airport to be cancelled on Sunday, reported 13 Las Vegas. The woman was allegedly drunk when she boarded the Frontier Airlines flight from Las Vegas to San Diego.

The woman was asked to get off of the plane, but she refused. According to fellow passenger, Serena Smith, the woman was also not wearing a mask, which is required on all Frontier Airlines flights and is a federal law.

According to Smith, security had to escort the drunk woman off of the plane. Even after she was taken off, however, the flight was still canceled.

Frontier Airlines explained to everyone on the plane that the fuel on the plane had overheated while waiting at the gate for the woman to leave the plane. The airline had to add more fuel to cool it down.

According to a Frontier Airlines spokesperson, the airline offered all of the passengers a $100 voucher and the option to re-book with another airline.

Las month, a flight from Las Vegas ended with an awful journey that no one asked for. The flight from Vegas to Stockton, California was only supposed to last one hour. Instead, it lasted 17 hours due to an unfortunate journey that began with storms.
