As Bonnaroo 2021 grows closer, the festival announced new vaccination and mask guidance for all who plan to attend, per FOX 17.

In order to "Play as a Team," Bonnaroo is requiring all attendees to either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative test before the weekend-long festival. Organizers announced the new health and safety protocols ahead of the September festival.

"The safety of our patrons and staff is our number one priority," the official Bonnaroo Instagram page posted Tuesday (August 10). "As such a full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test will be required to attend Bonnaroo 2021."

The last day to receive either the second shot of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine and be considered fully vaccinated by the time Bonnaroo starts is August 19. For those who aren't fully vaccinated, they will have to proved a negative test and wear a mask while at the festival.

"For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of first entering Centeroo," the post continued. "Bonnaroo requests that unvaccinated individuals wear a mask at all times while on The Farm."

According to FOX 17, the decision comes the same day as other venues around Nashville announced vaccination requirements to enter.
