Bear cubs have been known to wander into populated areas. Last month, a cub managed to get trapped in a tree outside a Raleigh hospital, only getting lured down with the promise of treats. Now, a group of young bear cubs were captured on video having a blast at a golf course in North Carolina.
According to News 13, the video was filmed by Erin James who recently noticed three black bear cubs playing around on a Western North Carolina golf course. In the video, two of the cubs can be seen wrestling with each other while the third seems to be picking a fight with a flagstick pole.

While the playing bear cubs may appear friendly enough, wildlife experts warn anyone who encounters them to keep their distance and not interact.
"Don't feed them, don't treat them as pets and let them be wild animals," said Ashley Hobbs of the North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission.
This isn't the first time a group of black bear cubs were caught playing around near humans. In May, a group of cubs delighted tourists at Dollywood in Tennessee when they wandered around a car-filled parking lot, getting distracted while following their mama bear across the road.
