A Florida man is facing charges after he was busy going on what authorities called an "impressive crime spree."

WKMG says 24-year-old Charles Harrington is facing several burglary and grand theft charges after Volusia County deputies learned he allegedly stole at least four vehicles and caused property damage in the Pierson, Florida area.

The incident started when deputies got reports about a crash on U.S. Highway 17 and Palmetto Avenue. Body camera video shows authorities finding a stolen Ford F-150 truck stuck in the mud up to the tailgate. No one was inside the truck, but officials said it was stolen out of Marion County.

Witnesses approached deputies while they were investigating the truck, claiming two buildings were broken into. On top of that, bystanders said another Ford F-150 and a forklift were stolen. Authorities found the second Ford F-150 crashed in the woods with its catalytic converter cut off.

Deputies then got another report about a stolen car along with missing keys and a pair of shoes. More calls came in later, but this time about a stolen four-wheeler.

"Another call came in reporting an unknown person riding a four-wheeler around a fernery property in the area," the sheriff's office wrote. "A man.. heard the four-wheeler, followed the tracks and found the suspect walking around. The suspect started asking to drink from the sprinklers (which would be unsafe), then took off running."

A neighbor told authorities she saw a person jumping a fence and lurking in the woods, and a deputy caught Harrington walking out the forest along County Road 3. Officials said they found a set of F-150 keys in Harrington's pocket, which was identical to the victim's keys for the truck missing its catalytic converter.

The shirtless suspect claimed he was "swimming" with his "old lady," and even claimed he knocked on someone's door asking for “some water but other than that I didn’t do nothing.”

Harrington was taken into custody, where deputies learned he had an open warrant out of Marion County. He's being held on an $88,000 bond.
