Drake revealed he had COVID-19 after a fan dissed his haircut.
An Instagram user posted two photos of the "God's Plan" rapper on Monday (August 16), showcasing the difference in the heart design shaved into his hair, per HipHopDX. "That heart is stressed," they captioned the photo, including both skull and crying emojis.
It didn't take long for the Champagne Papi himself to notice the post, and he replied with the reason why it looks so different: COVID-19.
"I had Covid that s--- grew in weird I had to start again," he commented, adding a cry laughing emoji. "It's coming back don't diss."
DJ Khaled, Drake's "POPSTAR" collaborator, revealed last week that he and his family have recovered from COVID as well. Drake didn't talk about any other symptoms he experienced or when he was diagnosed, but he appears to be in good spirits if he's responding to the haters.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Drake's sixth album, Certified Lover Boy, which he recently teased was finished and ready to drop soon.
"Album's cooked," he said in an interview last month, teasing "good vibes and good energy." "Looking forward to delivering it to you. I hope everybody in the world is blessed. I hope everybody has their drinks, everyone's locked in."
