Kevione Faulk, the daughter of LSU's all-time leading rusher and three-time Super Bowl champion Kevin Faulk, has died at the age of 19.
Kevione attended her father's alma matter and was a student staff member for the LSU football team, where Kevin currently serves as a running backs coach.
"We are heartbroken with the passing of Kevione Faulk, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Faulk family and all of those who love Kevione," LSU football wrote in an official statement shared on Monday (September 13) via Twitter. "She was a part of the LSU Family, and we mourn the loss of a daughter, a sister, a friend, a classmate and a colleague. We ask that all Tigers keep the Faulks in their prayers and respect their privacy at this difficult time."
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron also shared a statement in response to Faulk's death on Monday.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with Coach Faulk and his family as we mourn the loss of his daughter Kevione," Orgeron tweeted. "Her smile and personality will be sorely missed in our building. May she Rest In Peace."

Kevione's cause of death has not been released as of Tuesday (September 14).
Kevin Faulk finished his collegiate career with 4,557 rushing yards and 50 total touchdowns, including 46 rushing scores -- all LSU records -- as well as 5,157 total yards from scrimmage.
Faulk, who was inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2015, was a first-team All-American in 1996, a three-time All-SEC running back (1996-98) and the SEC Freshman of the Year in 1995 during his collegiate career.
Faulk was selected by the New England Patriots at No. 46 overall in the 1999 NFL Draft and spent his entire 13-year NFL career with the franchise, winning three Super Bowls (XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX).
The former running back was named to the Patriots' 50th Anniversary Team in 2009 and elected to the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2016.
Faulk began his coaching career as an offensive coordinator at Carencro High School in Louisiana (2013-17) before initially joining Oregon's staff as director of player development in 2018 and being promoted to running backs coach in 2020.
