There's something about driving that just raises some people's blood pressure.

While Houston and Dallas are notorious for their traffic and dangerous roadways, a new study recently found that the Texas city with the rudest drivers isn't one of the of the state's major metros.

Car and home insurance website Insurify recently looked at over 4 million car insurance applications from across the nation to find out which cities in each state have the rudest drivers.

Because there's no road rage database, Insurify is defining "rude" drivers as people with the following violations on their driving record: failure to yield violations (failure to yield the right of way, failure to yield to a pedestrian), failure to stop violations (failure to stop for a red light, school bus, or stop sign), improper backing, passing where prohibited, tailgating, street racing, and hit-and-runs.

According to the data, Copperas Cove has the rudest drivers in Texas because there are 30.79 violations per 1,000 drivers. That makes Copperas Cove 53% ruder than state average.

Copperas Cove isn't very big. It has just over 32,000 residents and is 10 miles west of Killeen.

Lucky for Texas, the data shows that drivers here aren't generally considered rude. The top three states with the rudest drivers were Virginia, Delaware, and Idaho.
