Fall Activities To Do In San Diego County

While the weather may not feel like it, it's officially fall in San Diego.
The first day of fall was on September 22, 2021. Although we're still living through the COVID-19 pandemic, protocols are less strict and there are ways to gather while still being safe.
To help you make the most of the fall season, here are some activities to do in San Diego County.
- Bates Nut Farm
- The North County family farm is open to visitors daily from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Julian Apple Picking
- The popular "U-Pick" berries, apples, and pumpkins is now open at Julian Farm and Orchard. They also offer hayrides, apple cider-pressing, bouqet-making, and ax-throwing.
- SeaWorld San Diego's Howl-O-Scream
- The park's new "Horiffying Halloween Nighttime Event" is happening on select nights until October 31.
- The Haunted Trail and The eXperiment at Balboa Park
- These haunts open on September 24 and run through October 31.
- The Haunted Hotel Disturbance
- Another option for haunted house fans. This Mission Valley location includes three different haunts
- Pacific BeachFest
- This free festival is located along the boardwalk on October 2, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
- Brick-or-Treat Party Nights at LEGOLAND
- This kid focused celebration features Halloween decor, live creatures, and spooky exhibits. The park hosts the event every Saturday in October.
- Balboa Park Halloween Family Day
- On October 26 the area's largest free Halloween carinval will offer dozens of crafts, activities, parades, games, food trucks, and live entertainment from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
