It's fall, y'all, which means it's time for all things pumpkin. Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pies, pumpkin carving ... the list goes on and on.

And where can you go for the perfect pumpkin? A pumpkin patch, of course! Many farms across the U.S. open up around this time so kids and adults can take home a beautiful gourd and enjoy other activities, including corn mazes, local food, and hayrides.

To help you on your search, Reader's Digest looked put out a list of the best pumpkin patches in each state. Where can you get top-of-the-notch pumpkins in all of Kentucky? According to writers, that place is ...

Evans Orchard in Georgetown.

Here's what writers had to say about the farm:

Like the idea of celebrating fall in a setting that feels more like a well-manicured park than a muddy ol’ farm? You’ll love Evans Orchard and Cider Mill. It’s just an hour’s scenic drive from both Louisville and Cincinnati and 20 minutes from Lexington. Details haven’t been released for this year, but in previous seasons, fall fun at Evans Orchard includes, picking your own apples, pears, and pumpkins and end the day on a delicious note with fried pie and ice cream or apple dumplings at Sweet Apple Cafe & Bakery on site.

Unlike other pumpkin patches, Evans Orchard is free to visit while the hay rides and other farm fun costs a few extra bucks. Evans also sells fresh fruits and veggies, and locally made products all year around.
