A man in North Carolina's trip to the store ended in a huge lottery win.

Alexandro Acevedo, of Monroe, was babysitting on Saturday (September 25) when he ran out of milk, UPI reports. He stopped by the Food Lion on North Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to pick up some more and decided to add a $10 Bigger Spin scratch-off lottery ticket to his purchase. As he stood in the parking lot, he scratched off the ticket to reveal a $200,000.

"It doesn't feel real," he said. "I'm not too big on screaming. I'm usually a calm individual. But inside I'm going nuts!"

Acevedo claimed his prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh on Wednesday (September 29), taking home a total of $141,503 after state and federal taxes.

"This is big news," the father of three daughters told lottery officials, laughing. "Like having another baby!"

So what does he plan to do with his newfound winnings? He told lottery officials that he plans to use some of the prize to update his home, pay some bills, and take his daughters on a trip to the happiest place on Earth — Disney World.

While some lucky winners score big lottery prizes by consistently purchasing tickets, others have won by chance, picking up tickets while getting lunch or buying the wrong thing.
