Eat This, Not That compiled a nationwide list ranking the best soup in each state, which included Smiling Banana Leaf as the top choice for Pennsylvania.

"You can't not feel happy while having a meal at Smiling Banana Leaf in Pittsburgh," Eat This, Not That's Brittany Natale wrote. "Their phenomenal Tom Yum, which is a spicy and sour lemongrass soup packed with spinach and mushrooms, is just one of the many indulgent, freshly-made dishes available each day. As one Yelp reviewer put it, 'The flavor profile of the Tom Yum soup was the best I ever had.'
