Soulja Boy has joined the chorus of critics who are not happy with the way Elon Musk has been running Twitter lately.

In a series of tweets sent on Friday, November 11, the innovative artist expressed his thoughts about the social media app under Musk's new leadership. It's safe to say Soulja Boy isn't a fan so far. He questioned Musk's methods after the new owner implemented unusual practices like charging $8 (brought down from $20) for verification through Twitter Blue and giving blue checkmarks to any random account who pays.

"Bro leave twitter alone @elonmusk wtf are you doing," the rapper tweeted.

"Now u can just pay to be verified? Twitter has been destroyed 🤨," he added.

Big Draco has been pretty active on Twitter over the years. He's used the platform to declare that he was the first rapper to perform in the Metaverse, the first rapper to walk out a NBA team at home, and plenty of other "firsts." The "She Make It Clap" rapper didn't even let Elon offer a response to his first tweet without revealing his plans to launch his own social media app.

"Wow… I can’t believe this. F**k it I’m going to create my own app," he tweeted. "Bye twitter ✌🏾 catch me on instagram until my app launches."

Soulja Boy hasn't logged back on since. If he did actually leave, the rapper would be one of many celebrities who have ditched Twitter since Elon Musk completed his purchase of the website last month.

Stay tuned for the update on Soulja Boy's new social media site coming soon.
