Morgan Wallen announced rescheduled concert dates as he takes several weeks of vocal rest to heal from injuries. The “You Proof” artist posted the postponed performance dates on Thursday evening (May 11), promising that the final two updates will be shared soon.

Wallen said in a video on his social media channels earlier this week that he “got some bad news” from his doctors, who confirmed that he “re-injured my vocal cords and that I have vocal fold trauma. Their advice is that I go on vocal rest for six weeks. …they also said that if I don’t listen and I keep singing, I’ll probably damage my voice. So, for the longevity of my career, this is just the choice I had to make. I hate it, but I love you guys. I appreciate the support that you always give me. I’ll see you soon, and I’ll be back better than ever. God bless you.”

The vocal rest comes shortly after Wallen issued an apology for having to cancel a performance minutes before taking the stage in Oxford, Mississippi, explaining that he’d lost his voice. Last week, he said that although he “wouldn’t say I’m 100%,” he was “doing a lot better,” and continued with his next few shows in Florida. Wallen said in his video message to fans this week, however, that after playing three shows in Florida, “I felt terrible.” Here are Wallen’s rescheduled shows as he goes on vocal rest:
