Kelsea Ballerini Shares Memories With Chase Stokes During Hometown Visit

Kelsea Ballerini shared heartwarming memories with her boyfriend, Outer Banks star Chase Stokes, and tour mate Kenny Chesney during a recent hometown stop in Knoxville, Tennessee (and Chesney said he’s “still at the bar”).

Ballerini shared a series of recent photos and videos on Instagram Wednesday (May 24), writing in her caption: “get in losers, we’re going healing 🖤” The post captures the Subject To Change superstar walking the track at her alma mater, Central High School, a photo of her dog Dibs, a heartfelt note she wrote for the current residents of her childhood home, a video of Ballerini and Stokes dancing and singing along to “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers, and a selfie that Ballerini took with Stokes on one side and Chesney on the other. Chesney hilariously commented on the post: “I’m still at the bar.”

Ballerini and Chesney are finishing the last few shows of Chesney’s “I Go Back Tour,” with stops coming up in North Carolina and Alabama over the weekend. The tour joined both East Tennessee natives — who previously teamed up on Ballerini’s “half of my hometown” — as a tribute to cities where Chesney performed during the early days of his career.

The “HEARTFIRST” star revealed earlier this year that she was not single (“just vibing”), confirming her relationship with Stokes. She shared that the two began talking in early December 2022 after she slid into his DMs, saying “hi Chase Stokes,” as a playful reference to his Instagram handle. Ballerini and Stokes began to fuel dating rumors when they attended the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 9, and appeared close in one of Stokes’ photos.
